SAHAND 2 IRRIGATION & DRAINAGE PROJECT

Project Purpose :

SAHAND Irrigation and Drainage network with an area of 11,600 Ha. Located at 22Km south-west of Hashtrud on Gharanghau river plan. Project Consists of 5 development units of which SAHAND 2 is Second unit which supplies Irrigation water to 2500Ha. Of Cultivation lands Main source of water is SAHAND STORAGE DAM some 7 Km Upstream of project area . Water will be conveyed by Construction of pressured Irrigation pipelines of Reinforced concrete, GRP and HDPE pipes .

• Construction of 3.7 Km Reinforced concrete pipes                                      Dia. 1400 & 1600 mm
• Construction of 21.3 Km GRP pipes                                                                 Dia. 600 to 1200 mm
• Construction of 19.7 Km HDPE pipes                                                              Dia. 250 to 600 mm
• Construction of Manholes, Culverts, concrete Bridges etc.
• Execution of 3 pipe-jacking under Highway                                                  Dia. 900 & 1600 mm
• Installation of valves, Gates etc.
